Unnamed Weapon (C Rank)
Description: Based on the Darksteel Heavy Spear and upgraded with a large amount of high-grade materials, it was jointly forged by the enchanter Marta and the blacksmith Li Zhu, elevating it to C-rank quality.
- Mana Conversion Efficiency +3
- Durability +5
Passive – Abyssal Hellfire:
After infusing mana, the weapon will automatically activate the Flame Crystal and Darkness Crystal, converting magical attacks into Abyssal Hellfire, which deals higher damage and has stronger effects.
Abyssal Hellfire will always trigger a powerful burning effect and a grievous wound effect upon hitting the target. Damage is doubled against undead creatures!
Passive – Ring of Liberation:
After using Abyssal Hellfire, each enemy killed grants one stack of Ring of Liberation, increasing Attack by 1% and Attack Speed by 1% for 30 seconds.
Each new stack refreshes the duration. Can stack up to 99 layers.
Active – Liberation (Locked):
Prerequisite: Unlocks after reaching 99 stacks of Ring of Liberation.
In Liberation state, Attack and Attack Speed are additionally increased by 300%.
Consumes 9 stacks per second, and no stacks can be gained during this period.
Cooldown: 60 minutes
Bai Qiu picked up the spear and tried channeling mana into it.
In an instant, the engraved mana circuits began to glow, starting from the shaft in his hand and extending all the way to the spearhead and tail.
The embedded Flame Crystal and Darkness Crystal also lit up…
A dark crimson energy gradually enveloped the entire spear.
The intense heat distorted the surrounding air!
Li Zhu and Marta, standing nearby, instinctively stepped back.
Even as its creators, they felt a sense of fear toward this terrifying heat and energy.
But alongside that fear came excitement and pride.
They were delighted that Bai Qiu could already wield the spear effortlessly upon first use—and proud that its true potential was already approaching C+ rank!
However, Bai Qiu, enveloped in this terrifying energy, felt no discomfort at all.
Instead, he felt his blood boiling, his entire state pushed to its peak!
It seemed that when he activated the weapon with mana, it also fed back a portion of energy to slightly enhance him—though this effect wasn’t listed on the status panel.
“Adventurer, please give your weapon a new name. We need to record it in the archives,” Marta said.
Bai Qiu snapped out of his immersion and asked in confusion, “Record it?”
“Yes. This is the first C-rank equipment we’ve forged since arriving in this sanctuary. We’ll record its materials and base form, then display it for other players to study,” Li Zhu explained.
Bai Qiu: “Uh… like a certificate of honor?”
The two nodded.
Though a bit speechless, Bai Qiu agreed.
After thinking carefully for over ten seconds, he decided to name the weapon:
[Purgatory Darkflame Spear]
Next was the Darksteel Longbow.
Its transformation was no less impressive than the spear.
The originally pitch-black bow had turned silver-gray—likely due to the addition of True Dragon bone fragments.
Complex mana circuits were also engraved across the bow, and on both sides were embedded gemstones: one Flame Crystal and one Darkness Crystal.
Even the bowstring itself concealed hidden mana circuits!
Although ordinary people wouldn’t be able to notice it, Bai Qiu could clearly sense it.
Activating this weapon would probably make it glow just like the Purgatory Darkflame Spear, right?

After using Dragonfall Arrow, the weapon enters a dormant state and cannot be used for 1 hour.
Cooldown: 72 hours
Bai Qiu couldn’t help but take a sharp breath.
He had thought the Purgatory Darkflame Spear was already powerful enough—but the upgraded Darksteel Longbow was even stronger. In fact, with his current attributes, he couldn’t even activate Dragonfall Arrow!
Decision made.
This bow would be called:
[Fallen Dragon’s Bow]
A perfect name that captured both its function and its meaning.
He was already eager to test out his upgraded weapons, but there was still one final set of equipment left to collect.
Dragonslayer Set MAX (C- Rank)
(Note: Since there are eight equipment slots, full sets of the same series will be referred to as “XX Set” from now on.)
- Durability +8
- Mana Conversion Efficiency +2
- Mana Absorption Efficiency +1
Description:
Compared to its original version, this set has increased durability, mana conversion efficiency, and mana absorption efficiency.
Effect:
When activated, it can summon Abyssal Hellfire to envelop and protect the user.
Overall, the Dragonslayer Set hadn’t changed much in appearance.
It was still silver in color, but like the two weapons, it now had many intricate mana circuits that were difficult to detect with the naked eye.
On the chest armor, a Darkness Crystal and a Flame Crystal were embedded.
Originally, Bai Qiu had only intended to have the Dragonslayer Set repaired, not upgraded.
It was likely that after upgrading the Purgatory Darkflame Spear and Fallen Dragon’s Bow, there were leftover elemental crystals, so Marta and Li Zhu used them to enhance the armor as well.
During their later conversation, Li Zhu and Marta offered to waive the cost of repairing and upgrading the Dragonslayer Set—but Bai Qiu refused.
In his words, this set of equipment and the two weapons didn’t just contain their hard work—they had far exceeded his expectations.
Therefore, he had to pay an amount worthy of their craftsmanship, or it would be an insult to the quality of these items.
Hearing this, both Li Zhu and Marta were deeply moved.
They agreed with his reasoning and promised that all future enhancements and repairs would be handled by them—with a lifetime 50% discount!
In the end, Bai Qiu paid 30,000 Sanctum Coins to each of them, totaling 60,000 coins—instantly draining his savings back to square one…
Coins could always be earned again, but equipment this satisfying was hard to come by.
After getting a preliminary understanding of his upgraded gear, Bai Qiu was ready to head out immediately to test the combat performance of the Purgatory Darkflame Spear, Fallen Dragon’s Bow, and Dragonslayer Set MAX!
At that moment, Marta stopped him and handed him a cube-shaped item, leaving him a bit puzzled.
“This is a Recording Cube. Press the yellow button in the center to activate follow-recording. It can capture footage of an adventurer’s battles,” Marta explained.
“So this is…”
“Please make sure to record your combat performance and bring the cube back!” Marta and Li Zhu said in unison.
“Uh…”
Ding! [Enchanter] Marta and [Blacksmith] Li Zhu have jointly issued you a quest!
Objective: Use the designated equipment—Purgatory Darkflame Spear, Fallen Dragon’s Bow, and Dragonslayer Set MAX—to engage in combat and record as much effective battle data as possible! (0/10)
Reward: 10,000 Sanctum Coins
Time Limit: 24 hours
Accept quest?
Yes!
Bai Qiu accepted without hesitation.
The reward was 10,000 Sanctum Coins!
To earn that amount normally, he would have to kill 10,000 normal monsters, 700 elite monsters, or 20 boss-level creatures.
And the quest requirement? Just turn on auto-recording while fighting—it was practically free money!
They really went all out just to see the real combat performance of their creations, Bai Qiu thought to himself.
At that moment, Marta and Li Zhu grabbed him and started pushing him out of the blacksmith shop, saying things like, “No time to waste!” and “Off you go!”
Before he knew it, Bai Qiu had been ushered out of the Sanctuary Black Tower…
Bai Qiu: …
He had thought he was already excited enough about testing the equipment—but now he realized that compared to Marta and Li Zhu, he still had a long way to go.
