Suddenly, a strange purple robot appeared in front of it.

SaberLeomon didn’t know what this robot was, nor did it care. With a furious roar, it raised a paw to swat it aside.
Its claws gleamed with a metallic luster and tremendous power. With techniques like Nail Crusher, it could tear enemies to shreds.
But then, without warning, the purple robot fired a red laser beam that struck SaberLeomon right between the eyes.
“!” SaberLeomon’s pupils shrank. In that instant, it felt like a sword had pierced its heart and minced it into pulp.
Chill spread through its entire body.
Bio-Darkdramon muttered, “Tch. No fun anymore.”
“SaberLeomon!”
A cry of anguish came from afar.
SaberLeomon turned its eyes toward the voice. Another lion raced toward it, with silver hair, golden fur, and dressed in a school uniform—BanchoLeomon.
“Rrgh…”
SaberLeomon’s massive body swayed and finally collapsed, letting out a low, painful moan as it began to crumble like clay.
Another lion had fallen!
Only blood-red specks of life energy remained, which were sucked up by a vacuum-like device held by the purple robot—a Life Energy Collector.
“Kurata!”
Simultaneously, a furious voice rang out.
Spencer Damon dropped from the sky, his DigiSoul-imbued fist crashing down on the purple robot like a meteor, utterly smashing it.
The Life Energy Collector fell to the ground, and the robot’s fragments turned into a Digi-Egg.
Bio-Darkdramon prepared to act but sensed danger emanating from BanchoLeomon.
‘This guy… he’s strong! If I move, he’ll attack instantly.’
For once, the usually arrogant Bio-Darkdramon dared not make a move.
BanchoLeomon kept a vigilant eye on it.
Spencer looked at the devastated SaberLeomon and bellowed in rage, “Kurata! I know you’re here! Get out here now!”
Just then, a man in a white lab coat strolled out of the forest, smiling. “Oh my, such familiar brute strength. That must be you, Spencer.”
Behind him came a large number of purple robots—evolved forms of Gizmon: Gizmon XT.

“Kurata!” Spencer glared.
Kurata casually put his hands in his pockets and smiled, “Long time no see, Dr. Damon.”
He acted as if he were reuniting with an old friend.
After all, ten years ago, Kurata had been Spencer’s assistant.
“Unbelievable. You’re still alive,” Kurata chuckled.
“Kurata, you son of a…”
Spencer’s face darkened, his whole body trembling with fury. Clenching his fists, he growled, “You actually… SaberLeomon… Unforgivable!”
